BALOONS!

we start cycle 2 tomorrow its going to be a long day. A little later I am posting some new photos.

She is definately getting a tooth on the bottom of her mouth but other than teething and getting ready to bite all of you, she is doing great!

oh yes she has her own skypr account. i will try to have it on for most of the day. mainly for her dad, he misses her already. her screenname is catherinesause, if you look to your left you can see if we are online or not.

Good visit from the doc today, she is all good and we can have some visits too. Grandparents 1st though :)

Ashy boy is alot more relaxed since we have been home, example:

1st day home and she's feelin fine. Her breathing is alot better and we think her tummy went down a bit.

People at Greg's job were so nice! look at the basket they gave us, she loves all the toys.

LAST DAY! 4 more hours to go

she is a lil irritable today, but seriously wouldnt you be? shes been through alot so far but she keeps in good spirits. this photo is from today, the video is her 1st day of chemo.

Good Spirits

She has her port in, all went extremely well. She is starting Chemo right now. Completely passed out from the trying few days so no video today. Tomorrow i bet i will have a bunch.

2 more days and we are home, we will set up a web cam if you would like to see her homecoming on Saturday. Im sure she will be confined to the two of us for some time because of her immune system.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she has intermediate cancer, very very good. Means not alot of chemo and SHE WILL BE HOME ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!! i would like to thank all of you for everything, the prayers, blessings, thoughts, text, messages, comments and phone calls they all helped our spirits. Thank you so much, once she can talk she will thank you too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 9 - messed up on the days

I thought last night i was messing up on the day count. We sat down with the specialist on Neroblastoma, and Thursday we should have a confirmation that the cancer is Moderate - low risk cancer. We are crossing our fingers that it is that or maybe low risk. That means less chemo cycles. She has her MIBG Scan tomorrow, got some radioactive juice given to her today so she is glowing. (kidding). Then probably thursday they surgically put in her port, that is the day we are not looking forward to, its about a 5 hour long surgery. But that day we will know everything, NO MORE WAITING! We will know what stage the cancer is, how much chemo she will need, what kind of port she will get and when we can take lil peanut home. Her cat Ashy is really depressed with out her.

Today she was a very very happy baby, laughing almost all day. She is napping now, after her music therapy class and of course she loved it, look at her dad :)

Greg and I took a sneak peek into her Chart, it pretty much says "healthy appetite" and "alert & playful" all over it, really made us feel better.

Day 6

She is still doing good. Today we find out the chemo schedule and tomorrow they put in the tube for the chemo, its going to be a very hard week.

She has found the balloons Uncle Alex brought her, she loves them.

Day 5

I finally got to go home last night and greg stayed at the hospital with lil sause. If you wondering why she has a yellow sock on her hand, its the IV, she likes to eat it, then hurt herself. The nurses call her "Yellow Sock".

and finally today she is such good spirits and the doctor took more blood from her but she said "we want to make sure she stays this healthy" extremely comforting to hear!

day 4

We got some bad news for the new year. She will need chemo, i guess we were hoping no treatments at all. We dont know how much, how long, or what stage the tumor is yet until Tuesday. She also has one more test on Wednesday. but we are trying to keep in good spirits for her. Although watching the ball drop i was secretly hating all the happy people celebrating the new year.
