cycle 4 starts tomorrow

its 3 days again. She is all ready for the nurses to fight over who gets to take care of lil sause tomorrow

The scans are set

Her CT Scan will be on April 8th and the MIBG scan is on 4/16, after that the docs will let us know if she needs surgery or not. Happy things are on their way, but terrified as well.

I have to thank uncle mark for his suggestion. He told us to tape LIFE on discovery for Catherine (dsc.discovery.com/tv/life/) She loves it! It really helps me distract her during medication time and mouth treatment time. She used to watch Nick Jr, but she loves this now! Although I think she might want an aye-aye now.

First Words! we think

She was talking up a storm in target today, i got the camera out when we got home and she says "Da Da" then "Ma Ma". I saw her saying kitty and looking at ashy boy when we got home.

Thank you auntie gigi for the purple monkey and the good luck charms for us. She woke up this morning kinda fussy till i gave this to her again.

She loves this monkey, has to play with it or have it by her side at all times.

no chemo this week.

Her counts were low again, but she is just fine. Here are some pics and a vid of her playing with the bunny Uncle Mark gave her. She loves it!

she's doing better

she is doing great today, over the weekend we went to the park for a while.

She is doing fantastic with her physical therapy too! This week is cycle 4 starting on wednesday.

She did great wtih the doc today. Her counts are expected to be low, nope! Her counts are high and that is fantastic. She is extremely healthy and is expected to start cycle 4 with no problems next week. We are so happy. Instantly when the doc said she was ok, my back and neck pain stopped. We are going to hang out in the backyard today to celebrate since mommy didnt get any sleep last night. (if your wondering about the outfit, the original st. pattys day outfit was peed on.

we started..

She had her 1st real physical therapy today, she did great! She really wants to crawl so daddy is going to baby proof alot this week.

She has her doc apt tomorrow and today we might go out and enjoy the great weather.

we are fine

The storm last night was amazing, winds were up to 70 miles per hour. The sky was lit up with blue because of the transformers blowing up.We are lucky, we have power. Catherine and Louie (our cat) slept through the entire thing.

she did great with all the visitors today

we had alot of people come and see her today. Nutritionist, Coordinator, and Physical Therapist. They all said she is doing great with everything. We have some things to help her with the physical therapy cause she is favoring her right side, most likely cause her left side was so enlarged. But they all were welcomed with some smiles and some raspberries.

Tomorrow the parade is off cause of the storms. So we are taking her to hang out with some family that are coming from upstate. She is so excited to wear her new st. patty's outfit we got her at old navy and she gets to give Uncle Alex some birthday raspberries and maybe some monkey sounds.

Great doc visit this morning. She is doing very well and is very healthy.

We got her a new elmo shirt, she loves it:

a busy day

we got errands done today, alot of them. I'm always so concerned with each doctors visit that it might end up as another hospital stay.

But we stopped at old navy and got her an outfit for the st. patty's day parade.

being that it feels like spring here, thought I would put a new theme on the blog.

She's a lil fussy today and didn't sleep well last night. Lets hope she feels better today.

staying home today

She's not really feelin that great today. Im gonna keep the lil one in today, no park. I will probably take her outside in the backyard.

We will be on skype today if anyone else is.

enjoying the great weather

We have been really busy. I hate keeping inside on such great weather. We went to the park for 2 1/2 hours yesterday. I really tired her out. This week we have an regular doc appt.

cycle 3 is all done

We are home. She did well today. Slept through most of it and made spitting noises at uncle alex.

I got to put her on her stomach today for 10 mins, it was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 2 of cycle 3 done

Day 2 under our belts. Grandma Kulick came with us today. It went smoothly.  In and out.

She had everyone in the wing saying hello to her and some of the nurses fighting to take care of her. She loves all the attention.

She took a 2 hour nap today after we got home. I think she's gettting her energy up to make silly faces and raspberries at uncle alex tomorrow for day 3.

Day one done of cycle 3

We are home and lil sause is passed out. She did very well today, no crying at all. We also got some fantastic news: she can go on her belly!! time for crawlin!

Im sure alot of you are wondering what it looks like when she gets chemo. Picturing maybe a Frankenstein lab. Not so. She is in a new wing and its really nice! She loves it, gets to watch all the nurses run around.

2 more days and we are done with cycle 3, she's excited to hang w/ grandma kulick tomorrow and friday she gets to make spitting noises at uncle alex.

Doing good

We are feeling well today. She has developed two things.

1. Waking up for the day at 6am, instead of 730 am.

2. Mimicing people when they eat or smack their lips, shown in the video below.
